Vision Club is In for Blog Action Day 2008!
Hello everyone;
Today we are proudly announcing that Vision Club is joining the global movement Blog Action Day.
Blog Action Day
It is an annual nonprofit event that aims to unite the world’s bloggers, podcasters and videocasters, to post about the same issue on the same day. This year’s day is to raise awareness and trigger a global discussion on Poverty.
On October 15, 2008, Vision club through myVisionclub.com is participating in this global event that will reach millions throughout the world.
We’re told that poverty can be eliminated within our lifetimes, but even so, most of us feel stuck when it comes to taking action. There are in fact a range of things that anyone can do. and on October 15, we will speak up to what Students can do to help end Poverty!
We are happy to announce that Majd Elmashharwi along with fellow UOS student Fatima Barakji have worked on the Arabic version of the website to prepare the way for Blog Action Day to reach the massive number of Arab bloggers out there.
